Women’s College Basketball: Iowa destroys Penn State, 100-57; Meyer scores 10

IOWA CITY – Iowa destroyed Penn State, 100-57, Saturday in Carver-Hawkeye Arena as former Mason City Mohawk Mackenzie Meyer scored 10 points.

The Hawkeyes have won 35 consecutive home games, ranking second in the country behind Baylor (53).

Three Hawkeyes scored in double figures, including sophomore Monika Czinano (23), senior Kathleen Doyle (18), and senior Makenzie Meyer (10).

Junior Alexis Sevillian tied her career-high assists (8) to lead the Hawkeyes.

Junior Zion Sanders recorded her career-high steals (4) to lead the Hawkeyes.

Iowa hosts Minnesota in Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Mediacom Court on Thursday in Iowa City, Iowa, for Senior Night. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT), and the game will be streamed on BTN+.
