Women’s College Basketball: Iowa 77, Penn State 66

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA – Iowa won its ninth-straight Big Ten game Thursday night, beating Penn State in a road game, 77-66.

The Hawkeyes (18-3, 9-1) have won nine straight Big Ten contests, the most consecutive regular-season conference wins since 1995-96 (12).

Four Hawkeyes scored in double figures, including senior Kathleen Doyle (23), freshman McKenna Warnock (16), junior Alexis Sevillian (15), and former Mason City Mohawk Makenzie Meyer (14).

Senior Amanda Ollinger led the Hawkeyes in rebounds (9) and Doyle led in assists (8).

Doyle recorded her fourth straight 20-point game and ninth of the season with 23 points.

Up Next: Iowa hits the road for a Big Ten matchup at Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Sunday. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. (CT), and the game will be aired live on BTN.
