Juveniles arrested after Chickasaw county convenience store break-in

CHICKASAW COUNTY – Two juveniles were arrested after a Chickasaw county convenience store break-in and at least one more crime.

On Thursday, January 2, 2020, the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported break in at the A.V. Express convenience store in a rural area of the county. Howard county deputies responded to a similar break in at the Elma Express a few days later. As a result of a joint investigation, two juveniles were charged with breaking into both of the stores. Both juveniles were referred to the juvenile court system.

A list of the charges included: Burglary-3rd Degree, theft-2nd degree, criminal mischief-2nd & 3rd degree, conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of stolen property.
