DES MOINES – A man was shot in Goldfield Tuesday evening and was found by authorities walking along a gravel road.
On June 4th, 2019 at about 5:00 pm, the Eagle Grove Police Department responded to 722 N. Pine Street in Goldfield, Iowa on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located only a witness to the shooting. Officers later located the victim, Rich Crawford, 38, walking on a gravel road in rural Goldfield, Iowa. Crawford was taken to Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion, Iowa where he was treated and released. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was asked to assist and determined Crawford was in an altercation with another male, who has been identified. This incident remains under investigation.
Also assisting were the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol.

right and typo’s are allowed to the average person, this is supposedly a source of local news. it is not unreasonable to think that maybe we as reader’s should expect a higher level of attention to detail, some slight amount of professionalism and just maybe even articles written without being laden heavily with the biased of one man.
