ESTHERVILLE – An Estherville man was arrested after breaking into a house.
On May 28, 2019 at 12:52 p.m. Estherville Police were dispatched to 1205 2nd Avenue South regarding a burglary complaint. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a walk-in door to the building had been pried open. Officers began a search of the building and located a male suspect inside of the building. The suspect was taken into custody and identified as 25-year-old Johnathan Greene of Estherville.
As a result of the investigation, Estherville Police placed Greene under arrest. Greene was transported to the Emmet County Jail. He was charged with 2 counts of Burglary 3rd degree and 1 count of Possession of Burglary Tools.
Greene appeared in front of a magistrate and is being held on a $7000 cash or surety bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
