Decorah man dead after UTV struck by Wisconsin woman’s vehicle

RURAL WINNESHIEK COUNTY – A Decorah man was killed Monday when the UTV he was operating was struck by a Wisconsin woman’s vehicle.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, an accident took place at 2:53 PM Monday, May 20 at 1380 Highway 9 in rural Winneshiek county. Norman Dickman, age 86 of Decorah, died after a collision with another vehicle. The report from the Iowa State Patrol states that Dickman turned left from the right lane in front of another vehicle, a 2007 Pontiac PC driven by 62-year-old Lorrie Reed of Darlington, Wisconsin, going the same direction. Reed was hurt in the accident.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted By Winneshiek County Sheriff, Winneshiek County Ambulance, Winnesheik County First Responders, Decorah Fire Department and Frankville Fire Department.
