West Hancock teacher accused of felony drunk driving

BRITT – A West Hancock educator was arrested for a third drunk driving offense recently.

Raylea Hepker, age 27, allegedly committed her latest drunk driving offense on January 28. She was arrested by Britt police after, reportedly, the license plate
on her vehicle was covered as she drove on the wrong side of the road. She was charged with felony third-offense operating while intoxicated.

Hepker is employed by the West Hancock Community School District where she teaches English, the school’s website shows. Records show Hepker was guilty of second-offense operating while intoxicated back in 2010 in Linn county. She served 7 days in jail and paid over $3,000 in fines and court costs. In 2016, she petitioned the court to have the drunk driving charge expunged from her record. A judge denied her request.

I will never understand why people think teachers shouldn’t or can not have problems like the rest of us. This women needs inpatient treatment for her alcohol addiction before she hurts someone.

She works in the public sector, this is great news, just another tax payor paid vacation

If anyone has a reason to get drunk it is a English Teacher in today’s world.

Maybe she can teach you how to use punctuation.

Sorry, but she’s not (your) typical fat ugly bar fly. She’s in a higher class then you.

No shes not shes a crazy ho. I dated her lol would show up to my place trying to break in, and would sleep with anyone. Once I saw she got a teaching job I was just waiting for her to get charged with sleeping with a student. Girl or guy. She goes both ways.
