SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA – Three people were arrested for meth crimes in Spirit Lake as children were allegedly endangered during their ordeal.
On February 10, 2019, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 1600 block of Erie Avenue in Spirit Lake. As a result of the raid, three people were taken into custody:
Heather Luehring (30) of Spirit Lake was charged with:
• 6 Counts of Child Endangerment (Class D Felony)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Luehring posted a $5,000 cash/surety bond.
Roxann Peron (34) of Spirit Lake was charged with:
• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Peron posted a $1,000 cash/surety bond.
Jarred Snedeker (27) of Spirit Lake was charged with:
• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Snedeker is currently being held on a $1,000 cash/surety bond.
The DCSO was assisted by the Spirit Lake Police Department, and the Arnolds Park Police Department.

I m supposed to believe these are meth addicts? I mean they have discolored skin, mishapen heads and no cheeks combined with sunken eyes! If those are tweakers than at least a third of mason city has an outstanding meth problem!!!! We all know that’s not the truth this is a blue zone community for Christ sake! Jesus can we just be given an open season on meth heads already? As long as we demonstrate clear evidence they are in fact a current user/addict and they have been in jail x number of times in a six month period i see no reason we shouldn’t be bumping them off left and right. Pay like 25 bucks an ear seems like a fair bounty no rules in how you take them out either.
