Curtis D. “Curty” Everett, 61 of Mason City, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Muse Norris Hospice, Mason City surrounded by his family, and with his beloved dog, Cody, at his side.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2018 at Praise Community Church, 11 2nd St NW, Mason City, with Rev. Jeff Dahlen, officiating. Burial will be in Rockwell Cemetery, Rockwell.
Curtis was born May 19, 1957 at Mason City, a son of Merle and Margaret (Hoffman) Everett.
He was very high spirited, enjoying life in a playful way. He enjoyed the simple things and will be remembered for his big loving heart.
Curtis is survived by, his sister, Romaine Everett, St. Paul, MN; brothers, John (Dee Dee) Everett, Austin, MN, Roger (Rochelle) Everett, Walker, MN, Wayne Everett, Mason City, Don Everett, Ft. Smith, AR; many nieces and nephews and cousins, including a special cousin, Linda Riggan, Plymouth, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bruce and Steve; and several aunts and uncles.
