OBIT: Alice D. Bramley

Alice D. Bramley, 59, of Clear Lake, died Tuesday (December 4, 2018) at the Muse Norris Inpatient Unit- Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City.

A celebration of Alice’s life will be held from 1-3pm on Saturday (December 15, 2018) at the V.F.W., 219 Main Ave, Clear Lake.

Alice Dennise Haugen was born on July 17, 1959 to Dale Haugen and Darlene Dodd Butner. She graduated from Manly High School before becoming a mother to two daughters, Geneva and Jessy.

Alice worked for the Quick Stop in Clear Lake, Unisys, and most recently FRC for the last eight years.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, playing cards, 500, and cribbage, and playing pool. Alice was funny, sarcastic and quick-witted, she always had a joke ready.

She was a fighter and did her best to make light of every situation, no matter how sick she was.

Alice is survived by her step-father, Bob Butner, Clear Lake; her brother, Mike Haugen, Clear Lake; her daughters, Geneva (partner Michael Johnston) Bramley, Mason City and Jessy (Mike McFarland) Hart, Clear Lake; her grandchildren, Alexis, Reagan, Evan, Savanna, and Kayden; her nieces and nephews, Shanna (Ryan) Jensen, Clear Lake, Jake Haugen, Texas, Josh Haugen, Georgia, and Cheyenne Haugen, Mason City; as well as many other friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Dodd Butner, her father, Dale Haugen, a brother, Mark Haugen and her grandfather, George Dodd.
