Rockwell man hurt after vehicle rollover accident

DOUGHERTY, IA – A Rockwell man was hurt in a single vehicle rollover accident Saturday afternoon near Dougherty.

The Cerro Gordo county sheriff’s office says that at approximately 4:30 PM Saturday, December 1, they responded to a single vehicle rollover. A 1990 Olds Delta 88, driven by 36-year-old Joseph David Sturges of Rockwell, was northbound on Vine Avenue when he lost control on the ice and slush covered roadway. The vehicle left the roadway near a farm drive and rolled multiple times, ejecting Sturges.

As a result of the accident, Sturges was injured and transported by Mason City Fire Medics to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa with serious injuries.

The accident in under investigation.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Mason City Fire Medics, Rockwell Swaledale EMTs and Dougherty Fire Department.

please refrain yourself from posting stuff like this Joe is a human life its bad what has happened to him. Maybe you should not say or type anything at all if you cant be nice. It’s funny you can only think of posting this when he is in ICU. Vs going up to him in person and confronting him face to face about your opinion that’s KARMA.

Is this the guy that beat up his wife, just for his son to beat him for doing so? If so, karma.
