IOWA CITY – Former Mason City Mohawk Mackenzie Meyer helped lead Iowa past NCCU, 106-39, Saturday in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Four Hawkeyes scored in double figures in the game, including Makenzie Meyer (16), Megan Gustafson (20), Hannah Stewart (15), Monika Czinano (15).

Senior Hannah Stewart registered a career-high 6 assists.

For the second straight game, junior Makenzie Meyer (a former Mason City Mohawk) registered a career-high 8 assists.

Gustafson registered her third double-double of the season (20 points, 10 rebounds). It’s the 58th double-double of her career.

Freshman Monika Czinano registered a career-high 15 points.
Iowa broke its previous school record with 36 assists.
