Adventurist Rob Kesselring to present at Lime Creek Nature Center

MASON CITY – The Lime Creek Nature Center and North Iowa Nature Club have scheduled a renowned adventure guide for a presentation on Wednesday, November 14 at 7 p.m. at the nature center.

Rob Kesselring will present: “Wild Nature North of Sixty – Grizzlies, Musk Ox, and Caribou – 40 years of journeys beyond the end of the road.”
Kesselring has led twenty-seven canoe expeditions in arctic Alaska and the Canadian Arctic, one which lasted 14 months. In 2010 he led a six week 760-mile canoe trip without resupply researching the decline of the central arctic caribou herds. He has made 77 Boundary Waters canoe trips and has paddled over 120 rivers worldwide.

He is a founding member of the Heart of the Continent Wilderness Partnership, a Quetico Foundation trustee and active in conservation and wilderness preservation efforts on planet Earth. He has written five books and dozens of articles for outdoor magazines and professional journals.
