RURAL ALLAMAKEE COUNTY, IOWA – A Minnesota man died on an Iowa farm after a combine backed over him, authorities say.
On October 30, 2018 at 9:23 PM, the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a farm accident that had occurred in a farm field in northern Allamakee County near the town of Bee, Minnesota, located northwest of Dorchester, Iowa. Houston County Minnesota Sheriff’s Dispatch reported that they had received a 911 call reporting that an individual had been run over by a combine.
A Minnesota man was run over when a combine backed up to unload corn into a wagon. The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family members. The incident remains under investigation by the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office.
