MASON CITY – Aging Services Coalition of North Iowa is holding a Caregiver’s Conference at NIACC (North Iowa Area Community College on Monday, November 5th 2018 from 2-4 pm
Aging Services Coalition of North Iowa will be holding a Caregiver’s Conference open to all caregivers. The speaker is Lark Trygstad ARNP. Lark specializes in Geriatric care and has a special community interest in “Grow Your Own Aging Experts” a Social Enterprise aimed at aging on purpose.
This conference entitled: Avoid the Crisis…A conference on Healthcare Decisions, will provide a greater understanding of the importance of planning ahead for healthcare needs and an ability to implement decisions with confidence.
There will also be panelists available to review healthcare scenarios and provide community resources. Local attorney David Grooters, an expert in Elder Law, is one of the panelists.
Lark Trygstad, ARNP, is the Keynote Speaker.
Community Resource Booths will be available to provide education and support before and after the conference.
The conference is free, (sponsored by Elderbridge Agency on Aging) unless requesting continuing education credits; then the cost is $15.00 per professional. Professionals requesting continuing education credits must pre-register by November 1st.
