The endorsement is available immediately to current and future students who attend Waldorf University.

Wrong. The kings English was not the language of this land until it was stolen by foreigners. The thieves were uninvited, unwelcomed and entered the land illegally. Make your argument against ESL if you wish but you cannot rewrite history.
This country was founded by English speaking conquerors you feeble minded dimwit. Whatever languages spoken by the tribes roaming the continent before that is beyond the point as they where annihilated to make room for USA.
Could be a benefit to those 400,000 chinse nationals over here on visas stealing our American technology and wealth . College students you say ?
I wonder how you will react in 20 years when the Caucasian race is the minority.
We will have a cleansing long before that.
As strange as this may seem I do not have a problem with this. Why wouldn’t you want to be able to communicate with other people?
That is exactly why we should NOT be doing this. American have no common ancestry, no Tausendjähriges Reich to lean on. All we have is our culture, and our common language is critical to our national identity. I’m first generation immigrant myself and speak several languages, yet I’ve actively encourage my children to learn only English. Spanish is a loose-loose proposition. It is bad for you because you’ll be stuck roofing, nannying and picking tomatoes for minimum wage, and it is bad for your country because it will erode one of the few things that all Americans have in common.
“American have no common ancestry” which is exactly why we should be welcoming immigrants into our country and helping them become fluent in English. Do you, with your language skills, know Choctaw or Navajo or Cherokee? Those are native languages in this country.
Yes, and the white man took care of those Americans, almost to the point of extinction.
You are factually incorrect. “This country” is called the United States of America, and none of the languages you mention have ever been “native language” – whatever that even means – in “this country”. Rather we speak English in the USA, now as always, and the best way to help immigrants learn to master it, is to not enable us by means of tax funded translation services, ESL and other progressive feel-good programs. I understand this topic better than you ever can. I’d appreciate if you could recognize that and not tell me what is best for me, but maybe that just isn’t the liberal way?
“I understand this topic better than you ever can.” Donald, I didn’t know you paid attention to this site. Or is it one of your brain-damaged minions?
send all the losers from the windy city to this course so they can learn English and unlearn Ebonics.
If you think in term of “another sneaky plan to undermine the US culture” then you are in very serious trouble and your plea for help is valid.
Are you for real, it’s been going on for a long time. But I guess if you, condone it, you, don’t really see it.
Agreed…….. been going on for quite some time by my calculations. I see it brother! Seems like it all started when those sneaky white guys arrived in boats, stole the land, violated the inhabitants and took whatever they wanted as if they had a right to rape and plunder.
I am for real and I do see it, I really do. It has been going on for quite some time….. back to when those sneaky white guys arrived in boats and raped and plundered as if they had some right to violate the land and her innocent inhabitants.
Same basics they did to get the land. Stole the land, violated the inhabitants and took whatever they wanted as if they had a right to rape and plunder. And then cry when it was done to them.
Stop being so pathetically apologetic. The vile savages that prawled the land before Europeans brought law and order had to be exterminated in order to found this great nation that is ours. It is sad, yes, but the truth is said savages had been butchering each other since before they arrived in America, and the European settlers just finished the job. Also, looking at it from a positive point of view, the few Pocahontas that survived did get to enjoy citizenry in the finest nation the world has ever seen, as they do to this very day. As for the modern day reconquista, it is dangerous because it could lead our nation into a negative spiral resulting in civil war and even genocide to restore law and order. We want to avoid that at all costs.
You need to go find a history book that tells the truth about the white people claiming this land and the people who lived here before they arrived. You have no clue about history.
This just doesn’t sound right. How do you get into a college/university, without being able to speak English. Are there French, Greek, Spanish only speaking schools in the U.S. and those students want to learn English as a secondary language. Or is this just another sneaky plan to undermine the U. S. culture. Help me , I’m so confused.
It has nothing to do with your native language or your skill at using English. It is for people who will be working with foreign language speaking in their job-most commonly teachers.
Please thank the liberal teacher when you see one.
It is a “sneaky plan” only if you are paranoid and suspicious about the evolving cultural changes that have been happening all around you for years.
