CHARLES CITY – A convicted domestic abuser was found guilty of abuse again by a jury and now awaits sentencing.
Om May 23, 2018 at about 6:08 AM, officers with the Charles City police department were called to the 1200 block of Waller Street for a report of an assault. As a result of an investigation, officers arrested 33-year-old Tyree Cranshaw of Charles City on a charge of domestic abuse assault involving strangulation.
Records show Cranshaw was guilty of domestic abuse back in 2005. He was fined and jailed for that offense.
On August 16, a Floyd county jury found Crashaw guilty of two counts of domestic abuse assault causing bodily or mental illness. He now awaits sentencing on September 18.
