NORTHWOOD – The Worth county sheriff is warning residents to be vigilant after vehicle burglaries were reported this week.

On August 8, 2018 the Worth County Sheriff’s Office took two reports of vehicles being broken into in Northwood.  One crime was reported in the 900 block of 10th Street S and the other on Shell Rock Drive. All the vehicles had been rummaged through and items were taken.

The sheriff’s office says both of these incidents are under investigation and anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Worth County Sheriff’s Office.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office would also encourage citizens to lock their vehicles and remove anything of value from them. If you do see suspicious activity, please call and report it to authorities as soon as possible.
