RURAL WORTH COUNTY – A car found in a Worth county ditch led to the arrest of a Mason City woman for drunk driving.
On July 7th, 2018 the Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at approximately 10:48 pm for a single vehicle in the ditch on Partridge Avenue at 340th St. When the deputy arrived he found a black Buick in the west ditch just north of 340th St. Upon further investigation Shyanne Leek, 19, of Mason City was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated- 1st offense, a serious misdemeanor. Leek was booked into the Worth County Jail on this charge.
The Worth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Dick’s Towing of Northwood.
