CHARLES CITY – A Waterloo man with a criminal past was caught drunk driving in Charles City.
On the evening of July 4, at about 7:40 PM, officers with the Charles City police department located what they called a possibly-intoxicated driver. As a result of that investigation, they arrested 41-year-old Seth Caldwell of Waterloo for second-offense operating while intoxicated and driving while revoked. Caldwell’s license was revoked because he was guilty this past January in Black Hawk county of drunk driving.
Caldwell, with a previous convictions for domestic abuse (at least two) and felony drug crimes, was taken to jail. He was soon released, but was return to court in August.
