RURAL HAMILTON COUNTY – A Rockwell man was caught with meth after a driving complaint.

On June 15, 2018 at 2:10 AM, a deputy with the Hamilton county sheriff’s office responded to a driving complaint at the 147 mile marker of Interstate 35, southbound. The deputy located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 52-year-old David B. Hirsch of Rockwell was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession prescription drugs and drug tax stamp violations.

Hirsch posted bond and is due in court on June 22.

Records show Hirsch has been accused of a range of drug violations in the past in Cerro Gordo and Hardin county, but the charges were all dismissed.
