CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake auto dealership is holding an event this weekend to benefit local non-profits and charities.
Ford Motor Company and its dealers are working together to benefit communities nationwide. Drive 4 UR School is designed to help raise much-needed funding for local community groups and nonprofit organizations. To date, Ford Dealerships across the United States have helped raise more than $35 million for local schools and nonprofits, thanks to their hard work and the Drive 4 UR School and Drive 4 UR Community programs.
Billion Ford of Clear Lake is bringing Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR School program to the Clear Lake community in an effort to raise up to a maximum of $6,000 for Clear Lake Kids & Families in need. For every person who test-drives a new Ford vehicle at Billion Ford (3101 Willow Creek Ct. Clear Lake, IA) on Saturday, May 12, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Clear Lake Kids & Families in Need.
“We know funding for community programs is hard to come by, and we want to do our part to contribute to the community in which we live and work,” said Paul Eich, General Manager at Billion Ford. “We’re excited to raise money for the school and look forward to seeing lots of faces here at the dealership!”
The event, which will be held from 10:00 am-3:00 pm, will feature many vehicles from Ford’s impressive lineup. “Whether you are looking to test out our vehicles, like the Focus, or want to try out technology features, like active park assist in the Escape, we will be able to put you behind the wheel of your favorite Ford vehicle,” said Eich. Dealership staff on-site will be able to assist with all Ford vehicles and provide additional information about each vehicle available for a test-drive.
