GALENA, Ill. – The NIACC men’s golf team tied for seventh with a 333 on Monday at the Clarke University Spring Invitational at the Galena Golf Club.
Waldorf University won the nine-team tournament with a 301. Dubuque was second with a 305 and host Clarke was third with a 315.
NIACC was led by freshman Ben Boerjan with a 81. Sophomore Devin Koob shot a 82 and sophomore Mitchell Scholl shot a 84. Sophomores Josh Schaefer and Anthony Emanuel both shots 86.
Also, NIACC’s Jordan Voves, playing as an individual shot a 85.
The NIACC men return to action Tuesday at the DMACC Invitational at the Veenker Memorial Golf Course in Ames.
