MARYVILLE, Mo. – The NIACC women’s golf team opened the season with a fifth-place finish at the Graceland University Spring Invitational on Saturday.
The Lady Trojans shot a 428-412 – 840. Baker University was the women’s team champion with a 366-367 – 733 and Waldorf University was second with a 373-362 – 735.
NIACC sophomore Courtney Tusler placed 17th in the individual medalist competition with a 105-91 – 196.
Also for the Lady Trojans, Brooke Maasch shot a 105-107 – 212; Sydney Fullerton shot a 111-105 – 216; Morgan Luecht shot a 107-109 – 216 and Ashley Alert shot a 111-111 – 222.
Playing as individuals for the Lady Trojans were Katelyn Loegering (103-107 – 210) and Kelli Wilson (112-98 – 210).
