MASON CITY – NIACC sophomore right-handeder Courtney Johannes was selected as the ICCAC pitcher of the week for the week of Feb. 26-March 4.
Johannes, who is from Pella, tossed a five-inning no-hitter in a 27-0 victory over Century College on March 2 in Austin, Minn. Johannes struck out 13 and walked to and improved her record to 3-1.
Johannes has 25 strikeouts with 10 walks in 18 2/3 innings pitched and a 4.13 earned run average.
