NIACC women remain No. 13 in latest poll

MASON CITY – The NIACC women’s basketball team remained at No. 13 in this week’s NJCAA Division II poll.

NIACC (20-6 overall, 7-3 in the ICCAC) split a pair of games last week. The Lady Trojans dropped a 70-68 decision to No. 2 Kirkwood and rolled to a 93-73 victory over Iowa Central.

NIACC, which plays at Ellsworth on Wednesday and hosts DMACC on Saturday, has been ranked in all 11 polls this season. The Lady Trojans were ranked as high as second in the three polls in December.

Kirkwood remained at No. 2 in this week’s poll and Monroe CC (N.Y.) remained No. 1.
