Mason City convicted burglar caught with illegal drugs

MASON CITY – A Mason City man who spent time in an Iowa prison for burglary was caught with illegal drugs for at least the third time.

A Cerro Gordon county deputy conducted a traffic stop at 1:23 AM on February 14, 2018, neat Orchid Avenue and 330th Street. The vehicle had a bad brake light, allegedly. After an investigation, the deputy found the driver, 27-year-old Bradley Allen Paulsen of Mason City, was driving with a suspended license. Also discovered was marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Paulsen was arrested for third-offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. He quickly posted surety bond and was released from jail.

Paulsen was sent to prison in January of 2015 in connection to a burglary crime he committed in 2011; he had violated probation at least twice. He was paroled less than 6 months later.

There you go. Carrying illegal drugs, driving without a license and not smart enough to check out his vehicle. He needs to be in jail. To stupid to be on the streets. Maybe Bodacious can reform him, but stupid is forever.
