MASON CITY – A Northwood woman was caught drunk driving in rural Cerro Gordo county this past weekend.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy conducted a traffic stop on Saturday, February 3 at about 12:33 AM near Thrush Avenue and 320th Street. The deputy soon discovered that the driver, 31-year-old Nicole Elizabeth Perkins of Northwood, had no valid driver’s license. Further investigation showed that Perkins was allegedly intoxicated.
Perkins was arrested for operating while intoxicated and no driver’s license. She was jailed and soon released, pending a February 23 court appearance.
