MANCHESTER, IOWA – An Iowa man was arrested after slapping his 2-year-old son and kicking in a door to retrieve property.
The Manchester, Iowa police department received a call for a disturbance at 108 Ludland Drive on January 14, 2018. When officers arrived on the scene, they were informed a male suspect had kicked in the door as an attempt to retrieve property. Officers were also informed the cause of the disturbance stemmed from the defendant slapping his son which resulted in a bruise on the eye of the 2 year old.
Later that evening, the suspect, 28-year-old Larry C. White was located by police and arrested on charges of Child Endangerment with Injury, a Class D Felony; Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, a Serious Misdemeanor; and Trespassing 1st Offense, a Simple Misdemeanor.
