CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman was caught this past weekend drunk driving.
On January 13, 2018 at about 2:30 AM, a Charles City police officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 8th Street and South Grand Avenue. As a result of the stop and investigation, police arrested 22-year-old Samantha Usher of Charles City for first-offense operating while intoxicated. Usher was taken to the county jail, booked and soon released, pending a court date.
