Two Mason City residents hurt after crashing pickup into tree Monday morning

RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A Mason City man and woman were hurt Monday morning after the driver lost control of her pickup truck on an icy road and crashed into a tree.

The accident took place Monday morning around 6 AM on 330th Street, about one-quarter-mile east of Apple Avenue in rural Cerro Gordo county.

A 1995 Ford Ranger truck being operated by 33-year-old Patricia Fayhling-Erickson of Mason City was traveling westbound on 330th street in Cerro Gordo County. She lost control of the truck due to slippery road surface conditions. The truck entered the south ditch and struck a tree. Fayhling-Erickson was transported to Mercy Hospital by Ambulance.

A passenger, 35-year-old Shane Fayhling-Erickson of Mason City was transported by Mercy Air Med to Mercy Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Department was assisted by the Hancock County Sheriffs Office and Forest City Police.

That chopper ride was about $12,000 ? – I know – had one from Mercy to Iowa City – a couple of years ago – $22,500 – Anyone tells you different their LIEING !
