Clear Lake police seek help from public after possible home robbery

CLEAR LAKE – Clear Lake police are seeking help from the public after a possible home robbery Tuesday evening.

At around 6:10 PM Tuesday evening, December 26, officers with the Clear Lake Police Department responded to report of a possible robbery at a residence in the 500 block of 7th Avenue North. Officers, deputies from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, and troopers from the Iowa State Patrol proceeded to thoroughly check the area, the CLPD says.

According to the Clear Lake Police Department, at this time, investigating officers have received conflicting information and believe the residents in the area are not in any immediate danger. The incident remains under investigation.
