MASON CITY – A Mason City man was taken to jail for speeding and drunk driving Thanksgiving Day.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy conducted a traffic stop very early Thanksgiving Day at 1:55 AM at the 1600 block of South Federal Avenue. After an investigation, the driver, 24-year-old Tanner Matthew Hoy, was arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated, speeding and open container of alcohol
Hoy was taken to jail, booked and soon released pending a court date.
