OSAGE – An Osage man was recently caught drunk driving with an illegal weapon.
Osage police stopped 64-year-old Don Peter Sweeney near the 100 block of South 6th Street at 10 PM on November 9. After an investigation, he was arrested for operating while intoxicated and possession or carrying of dangerous weapons while under the influence.
Sweeney, who was caught and convicted previously for drunk driving in Mitchell county back in 2011, is due in court at a later date.
