CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man is facing a felony domestic abuse charge.
Charles City police were called on the afternoon of Thursday, November 16 to the area of 2200 block of Clarkview Drive to investigate a domestic incident. Nearby, officers encountered 33-year-old Jason Mahan and placed him under arrest on a charge of felony D third-or-subsequent domestic abuse assault. He was jailed, and now awaits a hearing.
Mahan pled guilty to felony drug charges back in August of 2013 after an arrest by Charles City police.
