ESTHERVILLE, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man, age 84, is accused of a sex assault of a 5-year-old girl.
On October 15, 2017 Estherville Police responded to a complaint of an assault. During the investigation, it was determined that a Juvenile female age 5 had been the victim of a sexual assault. Upon completion of the investigation, Estherville Police charged 84-year-old Harvey Williamson with Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree a Class “B” Felony.
Williamson was taken into custody and transported to the Emmet County Jail. Williamson appeared in front of a Magistrate and was released on a $25,000 signature bond.
Estherville Police were assisted in the investigation by the Mercy Child Advocacy Center in Sioux City, the Emmet County Attorney’s Office and the Department of Human Services.
Court records show the charges were dismissed in 2019.

So has this man done this all his life or has his aging brain messed with his impulse control. I hope it’s the latter and that this is his first and only victim.

What does that tell us of the human condition? The ID…impulse control. We are all one impulse off from murder or living out hidden lusts. Cops of course with the impulse to shoot unarmed black men and mentally ill people.
