WAVERLY – A Rockford man was jailed for carrying a dangerous weapon while driving drunk.
On October 1, 2017, a report was sent to the Bremer county sheriff’s office about a vehicle swerving on Highway 218. Further investigation led to the arrest of 26-year-old Gunner Wayne of Rockford for first-offense operating while intoxicated and possession or carrying of dangerous weapons while under the influence.
Wayne was jailed and soon released. He is due to appear in court for arraignment on December 8.
