RURAL FLOYD COUNTY – Three people were hurt in an auto accident Sunday morning near Rudd.
The Floyd county sheriff’s office and other emergency responders were called to the scene of an accident Sunday morning, October 22 around 6:40 AM just west of Rudd. The sheriff’s office says three people from Illinois were hurt when the driver of a pickup truck fell asleep and the vehicle the went out of control. The pickup rolled and ended up in on-coming traffic lanes.
The injured were transported to Mason City by AMR Ambulance The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Rudd and Nora Springs Fire Departments and Scott’s Towing.
