MASON CITY – A drunk driver was stopped and arrested after she blew through a stop sign Sunday morning.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy conducted a traffic stop at 1:38 AM in Mason City near Monroe Avenue and 1st Street SW. A driver allegedly failed to obey a traffic control device there and was stopped. After an investigation, a convicted drunk driver, 24-year-old Ashley Rose Lacy of Mason City, was arrested on a charge of second-offense operating while intoxicated, driving while barred, driving under suspension and failure to obey a traffic control device.
Lacy was taken to the county jail and soon released, pending a court date. She was guilty of drunk driving after an arrest in 2014.
Someone needs to get her with child maybe then she will get act together
One more time and she have have real problems. I certainly hope someone explains that to her while there is still time.

Can’t get a girl unless she’s drunk, and then taking advantage of her, that’s cool. Unless your making it up, which in reality some losers do because they can’t get any girls.

It seems that this is her third offense of owi. I guess that alcohol is more important then having a drivers license. Luckily nobody was in the intersection, or she would have more trouble then she’s got. What a shame, and only 24.
