MASON CITY – A Mason City man who committed a burglary in Rockwell last year and was put on probation is accused of another crime, this time in Mason City.
Mason City police were dispatched for a burglary report on Tuesday, September 12 at around 8:01 PM. Officers arrived at 128 9th Street NW and soon encountered 58-year-old Johnny Lee Williams, who lives nearby. After an investigation, he was arrested on a charge of felony third-degree burglary and taken to jail. He remains held on $5,000 bond as he awaits a court date on September 22.
In June of 2016, Williams was charged with felony third-degree burglary by Rockwell police. He later pled guilty and was given a suspended 5-year prison sentence and 3 years of probation. He was also ordered to pay $1697.00 in restitution and court fees.
How many chances do these clowns get?
