Doesn’t anyone realize that these two are someone’s children, and just because they weren’t perfect. They have family that still loved and cared for them and will be missed dearly.

I do agree with you Lawsteward but when you die for some odd reason people forget how friggin bad a person you were. Also people this accident was not caused by the police, it was caused by a individual who chose to speed away from an officer, he also chose not to pay for a child he fathered and it sounds like he chose to do things in his past that were not normal.

…I see “balloons and flowers” have started showing up at the “CRIME” scene? What is it with people “ignoring” the fact that these people, first and foremost, BROKE THE LAW??? The young people killed down by Shopko have been turned into some sort of heroes for some reason…at the time of their deaths, several were or had been “BREAKING THE LAW”! I am getting a bit tired of seeing persons who show very little responsibility on their own, and then when something happens to them, suddenly they have become some type of “hero” merely because they are “basically” good people and turning their lives around…NO THEY WEREN’T…THEY WERE BREAKING THE LAW!!!

Exactly!

Lawsteward…. while you regularly are right on point with most of your posts, you really missed the mark on this one. Even “bad” people are loved by someone, perhaps even loved by many and the way that people memorialize those who they have lost differs for each of us. Balloons placed at the spot of a tragic death don’t make them heroes and plastic flowers are not excuses for poor choices. We all express grief differently, those of us, all of us who fall short of what the law requires. Hate the sin, love the sinner.

Maybe it was Kitty Karma?

Are the cops all high 5ing each other ….yes

Only person to blame here is the idiot who ran from the cops. I am just glad no innocent bystanders we’re hurt. Good job to law enforcement.

Let it be known that if you get caught with meth or another serious felony, you may be forced by police to participate in a pseudocide (fake your own death) in order to sway public opinion into changing laws in favor of the New World Order. In 2013 the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) made it legal in the United States for police and media to use propaganda and Psychological Operations in order to sway public opinion. Don’t believe me? Google it.
In a couple days or less, KIMT will be asking for the public’s opinion on wether or not we should change laws in the wake of this “crash”.

WHAT?? Who ties your shoes for you??

I agree

She was pregnant and would have given birth in the next week or two.

Was the driver of the vehicle the father of the unborn child?

Just imagine the number of innocent law abiding citizens who’s life was placed in eminent danger as this vehicle raced through the streets of Mason City. Had the driver survived he would have deserved to be charged with multiple counts of involuntary manslaughter. Wish this was the law of the land in all high speed chases.

Whoa this is deep! What about the lizard people that are amongst us! Watch out they, are taking over!

Cops had a reason to pull this car over. Outstanding warrant, speeding, running a stop sign, etc…

Law ABIDING citizen would pull over. He choose not to.

Yet we are to feel sorry for him and blame the system doing it’s job.

Cops should have let him go when he sped off according to another poster’s opinion. So every time he gets pulled over he speeds away and they let him go on to continue breaking the law. When does this end? Wait until somebody gets hurt/killed by this guy running from the law? That is the way this one ended except it was him and his passenger who made a poor choice to get into his car that day.

Exactly, he was either going to kill himself or some innocent victim, I guess in this case he did both

many departments around the country banning police pursuits out of concern for the safety of pursuing officers and the community, its time for departments in Iowa to do the same.

Name one…

Detroit Michigan

Detroit has only banned high speed police pursuits for simple traffic violations and misdemeanors. For felonies, it’s on like donkey king.

I can’t help but wonder what was the reason for this traffic stop to begin with? The article says that both persons were wearing their seat belts. Unless there was a warrant to be served I’m wondering why this deputy wasn’t in his own jurisdiction? I can’t imagine if this was all for a brake light citation? Did he run a stop sign before the chase? I think questions need to be answered. It bothers me that a young pregnant girl who was due in 20 days got caught up in this.

I had heard he had a warrant out for nonpayment of child support .

If that’s true it explains the jurisdiction but I don’t think it was worth endangering the lives of other citizens or the life of that poor girl and unborn child. Poor decisions on both parts.

I agree

No, it’s not worth anybody’s life, so the dead dumbass shoulda pulled over when the cops lit him up. It’s pretty simple, really.

… and yet another orphan. just another example of why we need to snip-snip everyone before puberty and only unsnip those who have proven ready to raise kids later in life.

as tragic as this is, at least no bystanders were run over.

I friggin love this idea. 99% of society’s problems are form kids that nobody wanted.

TGIF

We all make choices, some are very costly. Sometimes we choose to hang with the wrong people

I feel sorry for the girl who lost her life also, she didnt have a choice here, she died cuz of a person who thought he should try to out run the cops and break the law again,no matter if he was a druggy or whatever people are saying bout him this is a time of grief for his family and hers.myself my heart breaks for these people, its a sad situation all around and can not be changed.and yes im showing my name

It also became legal for the government to hire “cyber troops” like yourself, in an effort to combat the spreading of the truth. https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-americamovil-us&hl=en-US&oe=utf-8&safe=images&q=cyber+troops&source=browser-type&qsubts=1504855699057&devloc=0

OBEY!! OBEY!! OBEY!!! OK, when do I get my money, Einstein?

No kidding!

Slams a letting against a tree, then dies slamming himself aginst aainstvavtree. Poetic Justice

WHAT!!!!!

I think what he’s trying to say is that The driver was convicted of killing a baby kitten by slamming it against a tree. He dies by slamming himself and a innocent girl against a tree. Karma? Maybe.

Thanks.

What a shame… A nice car was wasted. What will mason city ever do with a loss of another tweeker

Here is a person that has disassociated themselves with the value of a human life. This person is a extreme narcissist and should be considered very dangerous. This person is like a Iowa trooper, they feel as though they are a god and everyone else is below them. Very bad person. Very bad! Like a nazi! Sick Puke!

Funny you say this. Those brown uniforms the trooper wear remind me of hitlers ss police that would come and take Jews from their business and homes. From their families and communities to lock them up and put them on trains. My grandmother hates them and is afraid of them. Most all the people in my community hates them and what look like and act like as well. She said they would sick dogs on them for entertainment. Sick bastards.

UPS is scary too

I love the pictures of Everyone standing around watching the accident scene like something else is going to happen. Look there is oil and blood on the ground! People standing around wasting time looking at something that has happened. How about the deputy. Anyone sad for him or her? You just had a chase turn into two people dead. Hope he or she gets help along with the families.

Do you soppose the deputy should have stood down especially when the speed increased. I think so.

I heard that the law enforcement did stand down and ended the pursuit three or four blocks before the accident occurred.
Anyone know if this is true?

cops should just flash the lights and let everyone go that breaks the law while in a car, never risk the chance that people may try and get away. (Sarcasm)

I don’t know if they should not engage in chasing people but I would ask this question. Whatever he was trying to stop them for, was it worth two and maybe three people’s lives? I think you should only chase if it’s a felony or to protect possible loss of life. This guy would have been out the next day or a week later. Not worth all this.

And what would you do if it happened in your front yard and you were home.? You wouldn’t be curios to see who is pulled out of the car, if they were dead or alive? No, you’d probably be on this site along with all the other idiots making your smartass comments. I dont usually look at this site because of all the idiots that post stuff not even related to the article but the site pulled in while researching and I just can’t believe these posts. Hopefully some day you dont need them men in brown uniforms or it isn’t one of your kids being pulled from that car but if it is I’d love to see your comments then.

You’re an idiot
