MANCHESTER, IOWA – An Iowa man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend with a knife.
The Manchester, Iowa police were called to 113 Ludland Drive on June 3rd, 2017 at 4:17 AM for an altercation. When law enforcement arrived, they found a female victim who advised law enforcement she was in a verbal altercation with her husband, Cheno Hardiman. The incident escalated to a physical attack that resulted in the victim being stabbed in the shoulder with a knife. The victim stated she defended herself by stabbing Cheno Hardiman with a pair of scissors. China Hardiman fled the scene prior to law enforcements arrival.
The incident remains under investigation, but on June 12, Cheno Robert Hardiman, age 45, was arrested on a charge of Domestic Assault Causing Bodily Injury 3rd or subsequent offense, a Class D Felony.
