MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was taken to jail after a traffic stop led to the discovery of the illegal drug methamphetamine.
Mason City police conducted a traffic stop on the afternoon of May 9 near Washington Avenue and 8th Street SW. As a result of the stop and investigation, the driver, 37-year-old Erica Marie Anderson of Mason City, was arrested on charges of possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts, and driving with a suspended license.
Anderson was taken to jail, booked and released under supervision.
