CLARION, IOWA – An Eagle Grove man was taken to jail on child porn charges.
Jason Marvets, age 30 of Eagle Grove, faces a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor for being in possession of child pornography. In total, he faces several felonies.
The arrest of Marvets was sparked by a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Wright County Sheriff Jason Schluttenhofer told several media outlets that “Social media has become a dangerous place and we will continue our work and cooperation with other agencies to apprehend those individuals who exploit our children.”
