Police catch wanted Illinois man, speeding and drunk driving through downtown Mason City

MASON CITY – A wanted man out of Illinois but now apparently living in Mason City was caught speeding in his car while drunk driving early Friday and taken to jail.

A Cerro Gordo deputy conducted a traffic stop on Friday, April 14 at about 1:41 AM at Penn Avenue and 1st Street SE. After an investigation, the driver of the allegedly speeding vehicle was identified as 25-year-old Darius T. Stackhouse, wanted in Illinois on parole and probation violations/revocations. Stackhouse was charged with speeding, no driver’s license and operating while intoxicated.

Stackhouse was taken to the Cerro Gordo county jail, where he remains held on no bond. He could be shipped to Illinois to face authorities there.

He is not to smart is he? Warrants out for him and he is out at night speeding and drunk. He is to stupid to be on the streets. Lock him up.

Could this ever happen ?- a another state/county has a policy that opens the jail doors for criminals – gives them a small sum of cash and a bus ticket to Iowa? Hell they can be flown into the MC airport and cab fare to Mason. Save the other state time and money and a quick fix. Think it can’t happen – ask old Fidel who shipped all his convicts and mental retarded people over here in the 60’s. Being played for fools or a coincidence ?

shitcogo

Wonder where in Illinois he is from…

I’ll give you three guesses and the first two don’t count.
