MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was recently jailed for illegal drug possession.
On April 4, 2017 at about 6:17 PM, a Cerro Gordo deputy stopped a vehicle at North Penn Avenue and 5th Street NE. After an investigation, the driver, 23-year-old Karyssa Geneva Nicole Gaines of Mason City, was found to have no driver’s license. She was also found to be in possession of an illegal substance and paraphernalia. She was arrested and taken to jail.
Gaines is due in court April 21 for a hearing. She was recently stopped and cited for no insurance; that ticket cost her $435.00.

Not sure how to pronounce her name because it has to be spelled wrong or different. She is as stupid as she looks if she thinks she can drive in this town looking like that. Dumb ass!
