Forest City tattoo artist jailed on three child support warrants

MASON CITY – A Forest City man was jailed this weekend after law enforcement caught up with him on three arrest warrants from around the state connected to outstanding child support payments.

Lance Andrew Alvarez, age 30 of Forest City, was brought to the Cerro Gordo county jail after 2 AM Sunday, March 26. He was wanted on warrants out of Polk, Clinton and Cerro Gordo counties connected to child custody and support issues. He has been wanted in Clinton county since August 31, 2016, in connection to the Davenport child support recovery unit. He’s been wanted in Polk county since January 23, 2017, also in connection to the Davenport child support recovery unit. He’ll be held in Polk county on $26,451.00 bond, records show. Alvarez has also been wanted in Cerro Gordo county since August 30, 2016, records show, for failure to pay child support, in connection to the Mason City child support recovery unit.

Alvarez, a tattoo parlor owner in Forest City, remains held in jail and could be sent to Polk county.
