Police seek clues after harassment reported at Jewish Synagogue in Mason City

MASON CITY – Mason City police are looking for clues after harassment was reported at a Jewish synagogue in Mason City.

According to Mason City police, on March 5, 2017, at 3:15 PM, it was reported “that a harassing voice mail was left on the answering service for the Adas Israel Synogogue,” located at 620 North Adams Avenue. Police say the message was left on March 4 during the day.

No further information was disclosed.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the caller is encouraged to call the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636.

Since January, there have been a rash of reports of threats against Jews and Synagogues in the U.S.

Ask both the Jews in town, if they have enemies or if anyone has been giving them trouble lately.

Better yet, ask the Two Corinthians. I bet they know something.
