MASON CITY – A Ventura woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a non-profit that is dedicated to raising money for breast cancer is guilty of felony theft.
Buddies for Boobies was short several thousand dollars, according to a criminal complaint. On April 20, the non-profit announced it “has done some restructuring within our organization” and named Eileen Miller as its new President. The group also said “we can assure you that we are still planning on raising funds for those afflicted with breast cancer.”
This announcement was after Clear Lake police on April 14, 2016, brought charges of felony second-degree theft and ongoing criminal activity against 51-year-old Leanne Hicks of Ventura. She was president of the organization between 2014 and 2016.
Hicks was arrested on a warrant on April 15, 2016, and taken to the county jail to be booked. She posted cash bond on April 18 and then entered a not-guilty plea on April 21.
After a guilty plea in November to only a charge of felony second-degree theft, Hicks was given a suspended 5-year prison sentence and a suspended fine. She must also serve 5 years of probation and pay $2,326.00 in court costs.

Charities are a scam to raise money so they can raise more money for their own salaries.
Correct analysis, only a holistic approach is going to prevent and cure disease, most people who work for charity’s get above average salary’s, all $ collected needs to go to the needy, the charity’s need to be run by volunteers, people are legally experiencing theft daily yet they are content in the illusion/matrix the elites have created for them, one thing that is free is forgiving others trespasses.

I know this lady. She is a re-hab tech and a very good one. I really have a hard time believing she would do something like this. She was always a caring person.
Organizations need to require two signatures on checks.
If the account is set up that way. I ran a non profit group and had checks only in my name. Tax exempt ID was on the check and I had kept every receipt, and did my own bookkeeping. Nice try!
