Meth lab busted up in Decorah

DECORAH – A man is behind bars after a number of law enforcement agencies converged upon a suspected meth lab in the middle of Decorah.

At approximately 7:40 PM on January 7, 2017, the Decorah Police Department conducted a search warrant at 607 Maple Avenue as a result of a meth lab investigation. Evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing was found at the scene.

As a result, 32-year-old Justin Bradley was charged and jailed with the following offenses: Manufacturing of Methamphetamine – B Felony; Possession Precursor with Intent to Manufacture x4 (Ethyl Ether, Pseudoephederine, Anhydrous Ammonia, Lithium) – D Felony; Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd or Subsequent (Methamphetamine), – D Felony.

Bradley is being held at the Winneshiek County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.

The Decorah Police Department was aided by the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office, Decorah Fire Dept, Winneshiek Medical Center, and Winneshiek County Attorney’s Office.
